Community Service --- Clean-up Suwa Lake

Shimosuwa Town, located in Suwa District, Nagano-Ken, Japan, 36°4?N, 138°5?E , under the leadership of Mayor Satoru Aoki.
The beauty of this town surrounded by uphills and large lake Suwa. Suwa Lake rank 24th in Japan surface area.

Shimosuwa community promoted the slogan "Revive Suwa Lake or Let Lake Suwa Sparkle Again".
In this activities the UFO residents from Suwa, Shimosuwa and Okaya came and joined together in Shimosuwa community program "Clean-up Suwa Lake". It was April 6, 2008 6:40 AM, we assembled at Mizube-Koen, it was a great surprised to the Japanese community that the foreign (Filipino) people joined them together and has positive impact to them. The organizer provided plastic bags for recycle and non-recycle materials.



It was a great fun early in the morning, a good outdoor work-out to release some stress from work.
