Feeding Program ---"Feed the Kids"
The UFO launched a project "feeding program" for malnourished children
in the depressed areas of Cebu City and other neighboring places. According
to the research and studies the low IQ and low height for age occur simultaneously
within the early childhood malnutrition. Sometimes acute malnourished and hunger
will result some sickness and death to the children. This is the reason why
we created the feeding program “Feed the Kids”.
For the meantime we are focusing children aged 1 to 12 years for a minimum of
250 kids a month. Kids are feed with porridge “sospas/aruzcaldo” and coconut bread.
The feeding projects are funded by the individual members who generously share
their blessing to the kids.This feeding program is in collaboration with the on-going
community service programs of DyXR Aksyon Radyo Cebu 648KHz AM Station . Through
the funds sent by UFO, more and more malnourished children are fed.
